PANews, November 27th - Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced the successful conclusion of its third annual Web3 Unleashed Hackathon. Co-hosted by Bybit and Dubai's DMCC, the event attracted 90 teams from six global tracks, ultimately selecting five outstanding projects and awarding a total of $140,000 in prize money. Held at S/O Uptown Dubai, the hackathon's theme was "Shaping the Next Wave of Web3: Leading the Decentralized Future." This year, the event added two new tracks, DeFAI and DeSci, and continued to cover DeFi, Web3 Gaming, SocialFi, infrastructure, and tokenization, reflecting the ongoing expansion of decentralized technology applications and innovation globally. Ultimately, ten shortlisted teams presented their work to a judging panel comprised of industry experts, technology leaders, and investment institutions. The judges selected five winning teams based on criteria including innovation, technological execution, and potential impact: Yumi Finance; Glint Analytics; Sorachain AI; Aurayale; and Spout Finance. This year's hackathon received strong support from multiple organizations, including DWF Labs, TOP Ventures, CROSS, Verse8, The Open Platform, CV Labs, Hacken, Cointelegraph, Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), and Blockchain Gaming Alliance.
