Temenos AG (SIX: TEMN), a global leader in banking technology, today announced the Board of Directors has appointed Takis Spiliopoulos as CEO, effective immediately.

Mr. Takis Spiliopoulos joined Temenos in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer and assumed the role of Interim CEO in September 2025. He played a pivotal role in creating the company’s strategic roadmap and driving its successful execution over the past year. He brings deep expertise in software, product development, and the financial technology sector, combined with strong people management, strategy, operations, and finance skills. Takis has a track record of building and leading dynamic, high-performing teams and fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability and trust across the organization.

The appointment follows a thorough and independent search process led by the Board of Directors, supported by an external executive search firm, that evaluated many strong internal and external candidates. The Board’s decision reflects its confidence in Mr. Spiliopoulos’ proven leadership, deep industry expertise, and ability to deliver on Temenos’ long-term strategic ambitions. The Company is launching a search to identify a new Chief Financial Officer and will give further updates in due course.

Thibault de Tersant, Chair of the Board, commented: “On behalf of the Board, I congratulate Takis on his appointment as CEO. He has been instrumental in defining and executing our strategy, delivering strong results while continuing to invest for long-term growth. In his role as Interim CEO, Takis clearly demonstrated he was the right choice for the CEO role, having brought stability and an execution-focused mindset to the company. In addition to bringing our employees together, he has also helped preserve our corporate culture and values, empowering his team to deliver for all stakeholders. We are confident he will continue to drive Temenos forward.”

Takis Spiliopoulos, Chief Executive Officer, said: “I am honored to lead Temenos in its next chapter of growth and thank the Board for their trust and confidence. Our strategy and investment plan are clear, and our strategic roadmap and priorities remain unchanged; delivering value for our clients and shareholders. Temenos has a strong set of values built on collaboration, empowerment and trust. I look forward to working with our Executive Committee and across the business, to further strengthen our people-first culture and drive our future growth.”

Temenos reconfirms its guidance for FY-25, which was raised at the Q3-25 results in October 2025, and reconfirms the FY-28 targets.

The post Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Chip Somodevilla | Getty Images The Federal Reserve is projecting only one rate cut in 2026, fewer than expected, according to its median projection. The central bank’s so-called dot plot, which shows 19 individual members’ expectations anonymously, indicated a median estimate of 3.4% for the federal funds rate at the end of 2026. That compares to a median estimate of 3.6% for the end of this year following two expected cuts on top of Wednesday’s reduction. A single quarter-point reduction next year is significantly more conservative than current market pricing. Traders are currently pricing in at two to three more rate cuts next year, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch tool, updated shortly after the decision. The gauge uses prices on 30-day fed funds futures contracts to determine market-implied odds for rate moves. Three officials penciled in three rate reductions next year. “Next year’s dot plot is a mosaic of different perspectives and is an accurate reflection of a confusing economic outlook, muddied by labor supply shifts, data measurement concerns, and government policy upheaval and uncertainty,” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. The central bank has two policy meetings left for the year, one in October and one in December. Economic projections from the Fed saw slightly faster economic growth in 2026 than was projected in June, while the outlook for inflation was updated modestly higher for next year.
