WisdomTree, Inc., a key player in financial innovations, announced on December 4, 2025, the launch of a tokenized fund with options payout strategies, available on their blockchain platforms.
The launch of WisdomTree’s new fund underscores its innovative approach in blending traditional finance and digital assets, offering retail and institutional investors enhanced strategies and greater regulatory clarity under the 1940-Act.
WisdomTree has unveiled a new tokenized fund named the Equity Premium Income Digital Fund (EPXC), designed to generate income and manage risk using options strategies. This initiative integrates traditional financial mechanisms with blockchain technology. The WisdomTree Prime® and WisdomTree Connect™ platforms will enable both retail and institutional investors to access EPXC, a noteworthy addition to their suite of 15 tokenized funds, currently boasting over $730 million in assets.
EPXC’s introduction affects the blockchain and financial industry by showcasing the adaptability of traditional investment strategies in crypto ecosystems. Leveraging its compliance with U.S. regulations, EPXC offers increased confidence for institutional participants.
The fund, adhering to the 1940-Act compliance, suggests that such innovative financial products can sustain regulatory scrutiny while enhancing market efficiencies. The use of blockchains like Ethereum, Avalanche, and Base strengthens their presence in real-world asset tokenization.
