Audi Revolut F1 Team has finally unveiled its official name and new logo, marking a significant milestone on the path towards its debut in the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.

The announcement, accompanied by the communication of the global launch date set for January 20, 2026, in Berlin, represents a turning point for the team and the entire Formula 1 landscape.

A Strategic Partnership between Innovation and Performance

The collaboration between Audi and Revolut, a globally renowned fintech, is much more than a mere sponsorship. The partnership, confirmed in July 2025, is based on shared values of innovation, performance, and a strong ability to connect with an international audience.

Revolut, as the Title Partner, contributes to defining the team’s identity, bringing its financial sector expertise directly into the operations of the Audi Revolut F1 Team.

This alliance translates into a series of concrete initiatives: the integration of Revolut Business into the team’s financial operations and the adoption of Revolut Pay in the online store, ensuring fans a simple and immediate payment experience.

Furthermore, the collaboration aims to actively engage Revolut’s global community, offering exclusive benefits and new ways to access events for app users.

The Launch in Berlin: An Immersive Experience for Fans

The official launch of the Audi Revolut F1 Team, scheduled for January 20, 2026, in Berlin, will be an immersive event designed to highlight the brand’s core values: clarity, technical intelligence, and emotion. For the first time, the team will unveil its complete identity, with the revelation of the racing livery that will accompany the team in its debut season.

The following day, January 21st, a public inauguration will take place, allowing fans to actively participate in the debut, highlighting the team’s desire to engage its global fan base.

Among the most anticipated moments is the presentation of the car’s final livery, following the recent introduction of the Audi R26 Concept.

Evolution and Identity: From Sauber to Audi Motorsport AG

In the framework of establishing the Audi Revolut F1 Team, Sauber Motorsport AG will be renamed Audi Motorsport AG, while the British technology center in Bicester will become the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK. However, the names Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG will be retained as a tribute to the team’s past.

This transformation reflects the desire to consolidate a new identity while respecting the team’s historical roots. The project is developed across three main locations: Neuburg an der Donau for the development of the hybrid power unit, Hinwil in Switzerland for vehicle design and race management, and the Bicester center in the United Kingdom, the beating heart of the “Motorsport Valley”.

The Voices of the Protagonists

Nik Storonsky, CEO and Co-Founder of Revolut, emphasizes how the partnership with Audi represents a powerful alliance to accelerate Revolut’s global growth, combining the ambition to challenge the status quo with a passion for engineering excellence.

Gernot Döllner, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, highlights how the unveiling of the name and logo marks a milestone on the journey to the pinnacle of motorsport, giving the project a strong and innovative identity.

Mattia Binotto, Head of the Audi Revolut F1 Team, speaks of a team taking shape, driven by precision and ambition, ready to unite as a collective at the Berlin launch.

Jonathan Wheatley, Team Principal, emphasizes the importance of this milestone, which energizes the entire project and makes the team’s long-term ambition tangible.

A Global Push for Revolut

The partnership with Audi represents a key element in Revolut’s global expansion strategy, aiming to reach 100 million customers.

Today, Revolut is among the ten private companies with the highest valuation in the world and boasts over 65 million users who conduct more than a billion transactions per month.

Through collaboration with one of the fastest-growing sports, Revolut aims to strengthen its international presence by offering its users exclusive benefits related to the world of Formula 1.

Audi: A Key Player in the Premium Segment and Formula 1

Audi is one of the leading global manufacturers in the premium and luxury segment, with a presence in over 100 markets and production involving 22 locations in 13 countries.

In 2024, the Audi Group delivered 1.7 million Audi vehicles, over 10,000 Bentley and Lamborghini cars, and more than 54,000 Ducati motorcycles, achieving a revenue of 64.5 billion euros.

Entering Formula 1 in 2026 represents a strategic choice for Audi, also favored by the new FIA regulations that mandate sustainable fuels and an electric component of the hybrid engine close to 50%.

Audi will develop its own power unit in Germany, while the sporting and technical management will be entrusted to the facilities in Hinwil and Bicester, ensuring direct access to the best talents and strategic partners in F1.

Towards the Future of Formula 1

Formula 1 reaffirms itself as the pinnacle of motorsport and one of the most influential sports platforms globally. The entry of Audi, alongside an innovative partner like Revolut, promises to redefine fan engagement and bring new energy to the championship.

The launch of the Audi Revolut F1 Team in Berlin will mark the beginning of a new, exciting chapter for the brand and for all Formula 1 enthusiasts, who will be able to experience firsthand the adventure of a team born to innovate and compete at the highest levels.

UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach

The post UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. British crypto holders may soon face a very different landscape as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) moves to expand its regulatory reach in the industry. A new consultation paper outlines how the watchdog intends to apply its rulebook to crypto firms, shaping everything from asset safeguarding to trading platform operation. According to the financial regulator, these proposals would translate into clearer protections for retail investors and stricter oversight of crypto firms. UK FCA plans Until now, UK crypto users mostly encountered the FCA through rules on promotions and anti-money laundering checks. The consultation paper goes much further. It proposes direct oversight of stablecoin issuers, custodians, and crypto-asset trading platforms (CATPs). For investors, that means the wallets, exchanges, and coins they rely on could soon be subject to the same governance and resilience standards as traditional financial institutions. The regulator has also clarified that firms need official authorization before serving customers. This condition should, in theory, reduce the risk of sudden platform failures or unclear accountability. David Geale, the FCA’s executive director of payments and digital finance, said the proposals are designed to strike a balance between innovation and protection. He explained: “We want to develop a sustainable and competitive crypto sector – balancing innovation, market integrity and trust.” Geale noted that while the rules will not eliminate investment risks, they will create consistent standards, helping consumers understand what to expect from registered firms. Why does this matter for crypto holders? The UK regulatory framework shift would provide safer custody of assets, better disclosure of risks, and clearer recourse if something goes wrong. However, the regulator was also frank in its submission, arguing that no rulebook can eliminate the volatility or inherent risks of holding digital assets. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that when consumers choose to invest, they do…
