PANews reported on January 23 that as the price of ETH fell below $2,900, Machi (Huang Licheng) reduced some of his long ETH positions to avoid liquidation.

He then deposited another 250,000 USDC into Hyperliquid to further increase his long ETH position.

Current position: 4,450 ETH (worth $12.94 million);
Liquidation price: US$2,841.97.
