Kitsault Energy Advances Plans for Northwest Canada Dual-Pipeline Project; Seeks Open Discussion and Collaboration at India Energy Week

NEW DELHI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kitsault Energy President and Founder Krishnan Suthanthiran has a bold vision: to supply crude oil and natural gas as liquid butanol to India via dual pipelines extending to the west coast of British Columbia, near Kitsault and Observatory Inlet. The plan includes establishing a floating butanol manufacturing facility at Observatory Inlet, a dedicated energy export port and terminal, and transporting crude oil and natural gas to produce and export liquid butanol—a cleaner-burning fuel with broad applications.

In recent months, Suthanthiran has traveled extensively across India and Canada, and met with Indian oil executives, the Indian High Commissioner in Ottawa, Alberta government ministers, and other federal officials to discuss the project’s strategy and execution. The plan supports Canada’s economic growth, including the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the First Nations along the Kitsault Energy pipeline route, all of which would see significant benefits from investments in Kitsault’s project totaling tens of billions of dollars—gaining tax revenues, creating jobs, and supporting job training.

For India, the project could reduce energy import costs by billions of dollars annually, improve air quality, and strengthen long-term energy security through direct access to Canadian supplies via the Pacific.

Suthanthiran will attend the four-day India Energy Week conference, beginning January 27th in Goa, India, and welcomes discussions and meetings about his vision for the Kitsault Energy Project.
