PANews reported on January 26th that, according to an announcement from CoW DAO, its MEV protection tool , MEV Blocker RPC, will be taken over by Special Mechanisms Group (SMG), the mechanism design team at Consensys. This tool has served over 4.5 million users and has cumulatively returned 6,177 ETH to users. SMG will continue to promote a user-centric, transparent matching mechanism to expand protection coverage. CoW DAO will focus on expanding the MEV protection capabilities of its decentralized exchange platform through CoW Swap and CoW Protocol.
