For the tenth time in his career, Bruno Mars claims the biggest song in America. The pop superstar launches “I Just Might,” the first taste of his upcoming album The Romantic, atop the Hot 100, earning his milestone tenth leader on the most important songs ranking in the United States.

Mars has delivered a handful of tunes in the past 18 months or so, but none of his hits – including collaborations with Lady Gaga and Blackpink star Rosé – heralded a new era for him. Instead, they were featured on albums fronted by those women.

“I Just Might” is different in that it is being marketed as the first sampling of Mars’s first solo album in nearly a decade, and its arrival has Americans returning to the projects that made him one of the most successful musicians of his time. As “I Just Might” opens at No. 1, all three of Mars’s albums under his own name reach the same Billboard tally, appearing together for the first time.

Three Bruno Mars Albums Debut Together

Mars claims three of the most successful projects on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music in America this week, as Doo-Wops & Hooligans, 24K Magic, and Unorthodox Jukebox all debut on the Top Streaming Albums chart. The studio efforts open at Nos. 27, 44, and 48, respectively, on the 50-spot ranking.

Bruno Mars Reaches the Streaming Chart for the First Time

Amazingly, despite the fact that Mars is one of the most popular musicians of the past 15 years, he has never before landed on the Top Streaming Albums chart. Just days ago, he was one of the biggest names in music to have never placed on one of Billboard’s most recently-added tallies and now, in one quick moment, he goes from zero to three placements.

Zach Bryan Launches With Heaven on Top at No. 1

Six projects debut on the Top Streaming Albums chart this week, and exactly half of them come from Mars. The current ranking is dominated by Zach Bryan’s With Heaven On Top, which launches in first place, as it also leads the charge on the Billboard 200 at the same time. Bryan doubles his total number of wins, as The Great American Bar Scene ruled for a single turn back in the summer of 2024.

Australian pop singer The Kid Laroi starts Before I Forget at No. 12, while OneRepublic’s The Collection rounds out the roster in last place at No. 50. Just like Mars, OneRepublic also appears on the Top Streaming Albums tally for the first time.

Doo-Wops & Hooligans, Unorthodox Jukebox & 24K Magic

As they debut on the Top Streaming Albums chart, all three of Mars’s releases return to various other rankings in the U.S. Doo-Wops & Hooligans surges back onto both the Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums rosters, landing at No. 13 on the latter, returning to its all-time peak.

24K Magic and Unorthodox Jukebox find their way back to the Billboard 200, while the first of those two is a top 10 success once more on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top R&B Albums charts at the same time.

An Evening With Silk Sonic Reappears as Well

Mars has released just one additional album, and it, too, gains ground thanks to the release of “I Just Might.” An Evening With Silk Sonic, which is credited to the duo Silk Sonic – made up of Mars and his friend Anderson .Paak – joins Doo-Wops & Hooligans, 24K Magic, and Unorthodox Jukebox on the Billboard 200 as it reappears at No. 178. Unlike those bestselling releases, it does not make space on any other tally this time around.

Doo-Wops & Hooligans Surges North on the Billboard 200

While every album Mars has released during his decade-and-a-half-long career can be found on at least one Billboard chart at the moment, Doo-Wops & Hooligans is the only one that already lived on the Billboard 200 last week before “I Just Might” conquered the Hot 100. This frame, the full-length that introduced Mars to the American public surges from No. 116 to No. 22. Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which peaked at No. 3, has ranked as one of the longest-charting albums in American history, and it is now up to 763 weeks on the 200-spot ranking.

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

The post Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto assets send conflicting signals ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September rate decision. On-chain data reveals a clear decrease in Bitcoin and Ethereum flowing into centralized exchanges, but a sharp increase in altcoin inflows. The findings come from a Tuesday report by CryptoQuant, an on-chain data platform. The firm’s data shows a stark divergence in coin volume, which has been observed in movements onto centralized exchanges over the past few weeks. Bitcoin and Ethereum Inflows Drop to Multi-Month Lows Sponsored Sponsored Bitcoin has seen a dramatic drop in exchange inflows, with the 7-day moving average plummeting to 25,000 BTC, its lowest level in over a year. The average deposit per transaction has fallen to 0.57 BTC as of September. This suggests that smaller retail investors, rather than large-scale whales, are responsible for the recent cash-outs. Ethereum is showing a similar trend, with its daily exchange inflows decreasing to a two-month low. CryptoQuant reported that the 7-day moving average for ETH deposits on exchanges is around 783,000 ETH, the lowest in two months. Other Altcoins See Renewed Selling Pressure In contrast, other altcoin deposit activity on exchanges has surged. The number of altcoin deposit transactions on centralized exchanges was quite steady in May and June of this year, maintaining a 7-day moving average of about 20,000 to 30,000. Recently, however, that figure has jumped to 55,000 transactions. Altcoins: Exchange Inflow Transaction Count. Source: CryptoQuant CryptoQuant projects that altcoins, given their increased inflow activity, could face relatively higher selling pressure compared to BTC and ETH. Meanwhile, the balance of stablecoins on exchanges—a key indicator of potential buying pressure—has increased significantly. The report notes that the exchange USDT balance, around $273 million in April, grew to $379 million by August 31, marking a new yearly high. CryptoQuant interprets this surge as a reflection of…
