He characterized their voting pattern as predictable and suggested their loyalty to a political agenda was unwavering. Trump asserted he had exercised restraint with his tariff approach, claiming he tried to be "very well-behaved" and "modest" in his requests to avoid influencing the court's decision, suggesting he understood how justices could be "easily swayed."
