Top Cryptos Under $1 for Biggest Growth: BlockDAG vs Remittix vs Lightchain

2025/09/01 13:00

The presale market in 2025 is showing a comeback, with huge fundraising rounds not seen since the early boom of 2017. Coins priced under $1 are attracting the most attention, and three names are being talked about the most: BlockDAG (BDAG), Remittix (RTX), and Lightchain (LCAI).

Each of these projects offers something different, from cheaper global transfers to AI-driven tools. Still, BlockDAG has managed to rise above the rest. Its strong design, rapid adoption, and growing support make it the top contender in this space. With record-breaking sales, millions of active users, and advanced technology, BlockDAG is setting a standard that RTX and LCAI have yet to match.

BlockDAG (BDAG): Hybrid Layer 1 With $388M Raised

BlockDAG has already secured over $388 million in its presale, while selling more than 25.5 billion coins to date. This achievement puts it among the largest community-driven raises seen in the last seven years. With its current Batch 30 price at $0.03, BDAG is confirmed to list at $0.05 later in the year. That means anyone entering now is looking at a gain of nearly 70% before the official launch. Projections also show a potential 2900% return, making BlockDAG one of the most talked-about growth stories of 2025.

What makes BDAG stand out is its hybrid consensus model that merges DAG and Proof-of-Work. This approach allows the system to process 10 blocks per second, putting it well ahead of several established Layer 1 networks. Its practical use is already visible, as adoption continues to grow at a record pace.

The X1 mining app now counts 3 million users worldwide, while sales of 19,500 miners confirm strong demand across the community. Beyond mining, support is growing on multiple fronts: over 200,000 holders and 4,500 developers are actively engaged, building more than 300 decentralized apps (dApps). This signals that BlockDAG is not only a presale success but also a fast-maturing ecosystem.

Looking ahead, many analysts expect BDAG to cross $1 post-listing, a rise of more than 35x from today’s presale price. With its next milestone aiming for $600 million raised, BlockDAG is increasingly seen as the most promising crypto under $1 for 2025. Between its speed, scalability, and massive adoption, BDAG continues to set benchmarks that few other presale projects can rival.

Remittix (RTX): Cheaper Remittances at $0.0987

Remittix is targeting one of the world’s biggest financial services markets, global remittances. At its current price of $0.0987, RTX aims to reshape how cross-border payments are handled by using blockchain to cut costs and deliver faster transfer speeds. Today, remittance services move trillions of dollars annually, but much of that volume passes through traditional financial middlemen who add both time delays and high fees.

Remittix wants to change this by creating a direct, blockchain-based system that reduces friction and expense. Analysts expect strong price growth if adoption continues. Predictions suggest RTX could rise to $0.20 in the short term (≈2x), move to $0.50 mid-term (≈5x), and even hit $1.50+ long term (≈15x).

While RTX’s real-world use case is clear and demand exists, the upside looks more limited compared to BlockDAG’s broader adoption curve. Still, it offers a practical and steady growth path.

Lightchain (LCAI): AI Meets Blockchain at $0.007125

Lightchain is the most speculative of the three but taps into one of the hottest narratives: the combination of blockchain and artificial intelligence. Priced at just $0.007125, LCAI plans to integrate AI with consensus models and smart contracts, offering tools at the point where two of the fastest-moving technologies intersect.

The growth potential is bold, and the projected price path reflects that. Analysts predict it could reach $0.02 in the short term (≈3x), rise to $0.10 mid-term (≈14x), and possibly climb to $0.50 long term (≈70x). Such numbers catch attention, especially among those drawn to AI-driven projects.

Still, most of this growth remains speculative. Unlike BlockDAG, which already has millions of users and working apps, Lightchain has yet to prove its adoption. For those willing to take on more risk, LCAI can be attractive, but its future is less certain.

Final Thoughts on Best Crypto Under $1 in 2025

All three projects bring unique strengths, but BlockDAG (BDAG) continues to stand out. Its presale has already raised more than $388 million, with over 25.5 billion coins sold and a fast-growing community of 3 million app users. Backed by thousands of developers building apps, BlockDAG shows the kind of adoption that most presales can only hope for. Analysts see it as the top coin under $1 heading into 2025.

Remittix (RTX) delivers a clear use case for cheaper remittances, while Lightchain (LCAI) pushes the AI narrative. Yet neither matches BlockDAG’s scale, speed, or ecosystem depth. For those asking which crypto under $1 has the strongest chance to surge in 2025, BlockDAG is increasingly the clear frontrunner.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
