GOP senator busts Kristi Noem for lying about Stephen Miller

Sen. Noem initially claimed she never blamed Miller, citing only "anonymous sources," but Kennedy read her direct on-the-record quote from January 27, 2026: "Everything I've done, I've done at the direction of the president and Stephen." The hearing addressed the deaths of protesters Renee Good and Alex Pretti, killed by DHS agents. Kennedy questioned why Noem labeled the dead demonstrators domestic terrorists. When confronted with her own words, Noem deflected, claiming she was "working to get as much information to the American people as possible" and refused to address the contradiction. Kennedy emphasized the quote was directly attributed to her, not from unnamed sources.
