The US Department of Justice just announced one of its largest crypto seizures ever. Over $578 million in digital assets linked to Southeast Asian scam operations is now off the market. The news is a reminder of what the industry is cleaning up. Pepeto, with dual zero vulnerability audits and a verified product roadmap, is exactly what the best crypto presale looks like when built correctly.

US DOJ seizes over $578 million in crypto assets linked to Southeast Asian scam networks

The US Department of Justice announced it had frozen, seized, and forfeited more than $578 million in digital assets connected to Southeast Asian cryptocurrency scams, according to CoinDesk. Transnational criminal organizations used fake investment platforms and social media to target US residents. Actions were led by the DC Scam Center Strike Force. Crucially, the seized assets will primarily be returned to victims rather than added to any government reserve. This underscores both the scale of fraud in the space and the government’s growing ability to recover stolen funds.

Best Crypto Presale: US DOJ Seizes $578 Million in Crypto Scam Assets as Pepeto Builds the Clean Alternative With $7.391 Million Raised and a 537x Return Target

Top crypto presale projects

1. Pepeto: 200% APY staking, 537x return target, and the cleanest audit record in meme coin history

Pepeto is leading the best crypto presale conversation in 2026 for more reasons than one. While DOJ seizures remind the market why audit verification matters, Pepeto has already cleared both SolidProof and Coinsult with zero vulnerabilities found. Not just once. Both audits returned clean results before a single buyer entered the presale.

The project raised $7.391 million at $0.000000186 during a bear market. That timing says everything. Early investors did not wait for the crowd. They read the fundamentals and moved. PepetoSwap, a cross chain bridge, and a full trading exchange are all announced by the team and approaching launch. None of this requires trust as a hope. It is documented and confirmed.

The return math is straightforward. Post listing target at $0.0001 is 537 times the current presale price. A $20,000 entry becomes $10,740,000. Staking at 200% APY is already running for holders who come in during the presale. The DOJ just returned $578 million to victims of crypto scams. Pepeto is the presale that never needed a regulator to step in, because it built the verification infrastructure first.

2. Remittix: cross border payments presale with $30 million raised

Remittix is a DeFi payments platform designed to enable crypto to fiat transfers through regular bank accounts without bridges or delays, per CoinMarketCap. The project has secured $30 million in presale with tokens priced at $1.30. Merchant crypto acceptance is a planned feature. The cross border payments thesis is real and the market is large. However, Remittix serves a very different use case than Pepeto and at $1.30 per token, the asymmetric upside that defines the best crypto presale in terms of explosive return potential is limited compared to Pepeto at $0.000000186.

3. Phina Network: AI data ecosystem with differentiation challenges

Phina Network is an AI powered platform for decentralized data processing and user AI tools. The narrative is relevant and the community is growing. However, similar platforms with larger teams compete directly. For maximum return potential in the best crypto presale category, Pepeto is the stronger choice.

Final words

The DOJ seizure confirms what the market always knew: not all presales are equal. Pepeto built the verification stack first. SolidProof and Coinsult audits returned zero vulnerabilities before the presale opened. $7.391 million came in during peak fear. Three DeFi products are announced and approaching launch. A $20,000 entry targets $10,740,000. This is the best crypto presale in 2026. It closes at listing.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…
