Aster , a decentralized exchange platform strategically invested in by YZi Labs, today announced the deepening of its strategic partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLFI).

This collaboration introduces perpetual contracts denominated in USD1 and new trading incentives, including WLFI token rewards and fee waivers for USD1 trading pairs, while also allowing users to earn additional income by holding USD1.

Aster and WLFI deepen their strategic partnership to launch a perpetual contract market priced at USD1.

This integration aims to enhance USD1 liquidity on the platform, laying the foundation for the project's new Layer 1 blockchain, Aster Chain.

Building a diversified foundation on Aster Chain

By introducing USD1 as collateral and launching a USD1-denominated perpetual contract market, Aster reduced its reliance on a single stablecoin and provided users with greater flexibility before the launch of Aster Chain.

With the support of the WLFI global community, Aster is accelerating its expansion in the USD1 market within the DeFi space.

Aster CEO Leonard stated, "The success of Aster Chain hinges on the depth of its underlying liquidity. By introducing USD1 into our core trading engine, we are building the trading foundation for the launch of Aster Chain. Our 0 bps Maker fee is designed to encourage users to participate in the USD1 market on Aster at the same time as the mainnet launch."

Zak Folkman, co-founder and COO of World Liberty Financial, said: “The perpetual contract market accounts for the vast majority of trading volume. The launch of the USD1 perpetual contract trading pair on Aster with matching USDT collateral ratios means that traders can use USD1 just like they would any other major stablecoin. This is the standard we set: functional parity, not treating USD1 as a secondary option.”

Building a USD1 trading hub

Aster now supports perpetual contracts priced at USD1, initially launching trading pairs for BTC, ETH, and SOL, with plans to add 10+ more pairs in the coming weeks.

To encourage market participation, Aster offers a 0 bps maker fee and a highly competitive 0.5 bps taker fee. USD1 is also supported as a margin asset and collateral, with a collateral ratio consistent with USDT, enabling traders to maximize capital efficiency.

Early adopter rewards

As part of the Aster Chain launch event, this partnership introduces several incentives:

  • USD1 Trading Incentives : Up to 2.5 million WLFI tokens will be allocated monthly based on USD1 perpetual contract trading activity, with rewards distributed weekly. WLFI reserves the right to the final interpretation of this program and token allocation.
  • USD1 Holding Rewards : Users holding USD1 on Aster are eligible to participate in the platform's incentive program.
  • Transaction fee reduction : All USD1 trading pairs have zero pending order fees and a 0.5 bps take order fee, significantly lower than USDT trading pairs.

Aster will also launch tracking tools, including an integrated points program portal on web and mobile devices, allowing users to monitor their progress and participation in Aster Chain's early marketing activities.

*Aster's standard taker fee on USDT trading pairs is 4 bps. The taker fee for USD1 is 0.5 bps, a decrease of approximately 87.5%. The pending order fee for the USD1 trading pair is 0 bps. All fees are set by Aster and are subject to change. Please refer to the Aster Fees page for the latest rates.

Two weeks ago, the CFTC gave Polymarket the green light to allow those very same US residents to place bets on whatever they like. This is quite the turn of events — and it’s not just about elections or politics. With its US government seal of approval in hand, Polymarket is reportedly raising capital at a valuation of $9 billion — a reflection of the growing belief that prediction markets will be used for much more than betting on elections once every four years. Instead, proponents say prediction markets can provide a real service to the world by providing it with better information about nearly everything. I think they might, too — but only if insiders are free to participate. Yesterday, for example, Polymarket announced new betting markets on company earnings reports, with a promise that it would improve the information that investors have to work with.  Instead of waiting three months to find out how a company is faring, investors could simply watch the odds on Polymarket.  If the probability of an earnings beat is rising, for example, investors would know at a glance that things are going well. But that will only happen if enough of the people betting actually know how things are going. Relying on the wisdom of crowds to magically discern how a business is doing won’t add much incremental knowledge to the world; everyone’s guesses are unlikely to average out to the truth. If…

Why The Green Bay Packers Must Take The Cleveland Browns Seriously — As Hard As That Might Be

The post Why The Green Bay Packers Must Take The Cleveland Browns Seriously — As Hard As That Might Be appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are off to a 2-0 start. Getty Images The Green Bay Packers are, once again, one of the NFL’s better teams. The Cleveland Browns are, once again, one of the league’s doormats. It’s why unbeaten Green Bay (2-0) is a 8-point favorite at winless Cleveland (0-2) Sunday according to betmgm.com. The money line is also Green Bay -500. Most expect this to be a Packers’ rout, and it very well could be. But Green Bay knows taking anyone in this league for granted can prove costly. “I think if you look at their roster, the paper, who they have on that team, what they can do, they got a lot of talent and things can turn around quickly for them,” Packers safety Xavier McKinney said. “We just got to kind of keep that in mind and know we not just walking into something and they just going to lay down. That’s not what they going to do.” The Browns certainly haven’t laid down on defense. Far from. Cleveland is allowing an NFL-best 191.5 yards per game. The Browns gave up 141 yards to Cincinnati in Week 1, including just seven in the second half, but still lost, 17-16. Cleveland has given up an NFL-best 45.5 rushing yards per game and just 2.1 rushing yards per attempt. “The biggest thing is our defensive line is much, much improved over last year and I think we’ve got back to our personality,” defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said recently. “When we play our best, our D-line leads us there as our engine.” The Browns rank third in the league in passing defense, allowing just 146.0 yards per game. Cleveland has also gone 30 straight games without allowing a 300-yard passer, the longest active streak in the NFL.…
