Myriad Launches on BNB Chain, Adds Automated Markets

In brief

  • Prediction market protocol Myriad is launching on BNB Chain.
  • The integration is a “natural evolution” building towards a “multichain future for Myriad,” the project’s co-founders said.
  • Myriad has also launched automated markets designed around auto-resolution, short timeframes and continuous flow.

Prediction market protocol Myriad is gearing up for the next stage of its expansion with its launch on BNB Chain and the addition of new features including Automated Markets and localized experiences.

Myriad’s launch on BNB Chain expands the prediction market protocol to the BNB ecosystem and opens the door to millions of new users across Asia and beyond.

“Over the past year, we’ve been steadily building toward a truly multichain future for Myriad,” said Myriad co-founder and COO Ilan Hazan.

“Our launch on BNB Chain isn’t just another technical integration,” he added. “It’s a natural evolution of what we’ve always stood for: meeting users where they are.”

Myriad’s deployment on BNB Chain follows its launch on Abstract at the start of the year and its integration with the Linea ecosystem in July.

“If a new infrastructure layer is needed to bring the Myriad experience to more people, we build it,” said Myriad CEO and co-founder Loxley Fernandes. “That’s been our approach since day one, and it continues to guide how we grow. The BNB ecosystem has one of the most active and diverse communities in crypto, and we’re excited to become part of it.”

Beyond the technical integration, Myriad’s launch on BNB Chain forms part of a broader expansion into Asian markets, with a Mandarin-language version of Myriad scheduled for release in the coming weeks, along with localized markets designed specifically for those audiences.

“The BNB Chain ecosystem continues to play a major role in making crypto more accessible worldwide,” said Myriad President and co-founder Farokh Sarmad. “We see this integration as a meaningful step in that shared mission.”

Automated Markets

Myriad is also launching a new type of market structure built for speed and simplicity.

Automated Markets are designed around auto-resolution, short timeframes, and continuous flow, making it easier for users to participate in fast-paced prediction or trading environments without waiting for long settlement cycles.

“This expansion represents both sides of what we’re building: deep technical flexibility and a global, user-first vision,” said Hazan. “We’re incredibly excited about what’s next. Myriad is growing faster than ever, and this BNB Chain launch is only the beginning of what’s to come.”

Problems off the field are more complicated, especially at the ownership level. That makes today’s Washington Post report on the Washington Nationals’ messy leadership structure that much more disturbing. The report, published by Barry Svrluga, Andrew Golden, and Chelsea Janes, detailed multiple inside sources criticizing the team’s leadership as “directionless.” It alleges that there are 10 members of the Lerner family making ownership-level decisions, preventing the franchise from having a unified voice. They haven’t employed a team president since 2010. At 62-92, the Nationals have already guaranteed another last-place finish in the National League East, their fourth in five years. Since winning the 2019 World Series, they haven’t won more than 71 games in a season. The Nationals fired president of baseball operations Mike Rizzo and manager Dave Martinez in July. They’ve been run by interim general manager Mike DeBartolo and interim manager Miguel Cairo since then, but they will need to make permanent hires in those critical roles early in the offseason. Their next leadership structure may or may not have significant changes from the current one. Regardless of how that plays out, they need to rethink their rebuild to climb out of the basement. The Nationals have three building blocks who were all acquired from the San Diego Padres in the Juan Soto trade. Shortstop CJ Abrams leads the team with 3.9 WAR (Baseball-Reference version) thanks to his 18 home runs and 31 stolen bases. Left fielder James Wood is hitting .254/.349/.461 with 27 home runs and 3.5…
