According to Odaily, the U.S. Blockchain Association has sent a letter to leaders of both chambers of Congress urging progress on bipartisan digital asset tax legislation. The association said about 67 million Americans hold and use digital assets and proposed principles including a meaningful de minimis exemption, taxation of mining and staking rewards upon disposition, taxpayer privacy protections, and taxation based on economic substance. Related legislation has already advanced in the House, while a corresponding Senate proposal has also been introduced, leaving a potential legislative window during the short congressional session.
According to
Bitcoin.com News, Albuquerque, New Mexico, has implemented a ban on cryptocurrency ATMs and over-the-counter assisted crypto transactions. Relevant businesses must immediately stop operating and remove their machines by December 5. Violators may face fines of $500 per day, possible revocation of their business licenses, and even closure of the entire business. The ordinance does not restrict residents from legally holding or mining cryptocurrency, or transferring digital assets through online exchanges or personal digital wallets, with the rules mainly targeting physical crypto transaction terminals.
According to Odaily, QuickSwap said its deployment interface on Soneium will cease operations on December 31, 2026, and urged liquidity providers and users on the network to withdraw assets and LP positions through the existing interface before the deadline. The interface shutdown does not mean on-chain assets will disappear, as users will still be able to recover relevant assets through the official Soneium block explorer afterward. The change mainly affects front-end services, though users are encouraged to manage their positions in advance to reduce operational complexity.
According to Odaily, GMX has opened its Builder Fees mechanism on Solana, allowing third-party developers to build trading interfaces, order-routing services, and automated tools while charging fees on position orders submitted by users. Developers must publish their fee rates on-chain in advance, while traders confirm the rate when signing each order. The fee is added on top of standard trading fees and applies to market and limit position increases, reductions, and stop-loss orders, but not to swaps, liquidations, or ADL, creating a new monetization model for front-end developers.
According to Cointelegraph, prediction market operator Underdog has partnered with zerohash and plans to support cryptocurrency and stablecoin deposits later this year. Eligible users will be able to make instant, around-the-clock transfers directly through the app without needing to manage wallet addresses or choose blockchain networks. Underdog currently has more than 11 million registered accounts, while IG Group has agreed to acquire the company for up to $1.3 billion. Over the 30 days ending October 21, Underdog recorded $1.4 billion in trading volume, up 133% from the previous period.
According to financewire, X Pay, a payment infrastructure provider focused on AI agents and API-based use cases, has raised $1 million from nine investors, including DCI, Credit Scend, Skyland Ventures, and Zerra Ventures. The company plans to use the funding to expand the number of supported blockchain networks, conduct independent security reviews, launch an API marketplace, and prepare for EU compliance requirements including MiCA. The financing reflects continued early-stage investor interest in infrastructure combining AI agents with on-chain payments.
According to Bloomberg, S&P Global Ratings has assigned UK digital bank Revolut a BBB+ investment-grade rating for the first time and expects the company to issue senior unsecured debt in 2027 to build a loss-absorbing debt buffer and meet regulatory requirements. Revolut's balance sheet has exceeded £40 billion, and S&P expects its loan portfolio to double in 2027 and double again in 2028. The rating agency also noted that the company's rapid global expansion, operational complexity, and compliance risks remain important areas to monitor.
According to Cointelegraph, Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission said several asset management companies have consulted the regulator about launching spot cryptocurrency ETFs, but no firms have formally submitted applications yet. Thailand's new crypto ETF rules have already taken effect, allowing asset managers to launch locally listed spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. The regulator has not confirmed whether the first products can be approved before the end of 2026, as the timeline will depend on applicants' preparations, regulatory review, and investor protection requirements.
According to Business Insider, Israeli cybersecurity startup Mave has raised $34 million, including a $28 million Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners with participation from Lumir Growth Partners. Mave develops AI agents for cybersecurity operations that can integrate information from enterprise security systems, investigate alerts, filter false positives, and execute actions approved by human teams. The company currently has 30 employees and plans to use the new funding to double its workforce, with hiring focused primarily on go-to-market functions and AI research.
According to Odaily, GMX has further opened its Builder Fees mechanism to third-party developers on Solana, allowing trading interfaces, routing tools, and automated applications to set additional developer fees on user orders. Fee rates must be published on-chain and confirmed by traders when placing orders. All orders submitted through developer interfaces continue to use the same GMX liquidity pools, oracle prices, and price-impact rules, meaning the mechanism primarily changes front-end and developer monetization rather than the underlying trade execution logic.

Recently, users should remain especially alert to phishing and asset-transfer scams involving impersonation of crypto platform customer support. The FBI is investigating related crypto fraud cases in which scammers contact users while pretending to be customer-service representatives, direct them to fake login pages, or claim that assets must be transferred to another wallet for "account security" or "asset protection." Once the transfer is completed, users may lose control of the funds. If someone claiming to be customer support contacts you first, verify their identity by accessing support through the platform's official website or app. Do not click login links from unfamiliar emails, text messages, or private chats, and never transfer assets or disclose a seed phrase or private key based on instructions from an unsolicited contact. If a suspicious transfer has already occurred, immediately preserve the wallet address, transaction hash, and communication records and report the incident through official channels.
