Julia Varvaro, a top Trump counterterrorism official, has reportedly been placed on administrative leave after she was accused of soliciting funds from "sugar daddy" men.

In a report on Wednesday, the Daily Mail alleged that men complained about spending thousands on Varvaro while she served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism. The publication found that she called herself Alessia on a sugar daddy website, where she offered "seductive sophistication."

Varvaro's suspension came after a man named Robert filed an official complaint with the Department of Homeland Security's Inspector General.

A DHS official later confirmed the suspension to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.

"I didn't know it was bad to go on vacation with your boyfriend," the 29-year-old Varvaro said in a statement.
