MEXC Netherlands Service Wind-Down: Accessing Your Remaining Assets After Offboarding

Quick Summary
• If you have withdrawn all your assets before your Account Restriction date, no further action is needed.
• Remaining assets will be held in custody with Kraken under arrangements made by MEXC, following the completion of applicable offboarding procedures. Assets not supported by Kraken will first be converted to USDC.
• MEXC will take two snapshots of remaining account balances: the first on November 7, 2026, at 16:00 (UTC), to record balances before asset conversion, and the second on November 11, 2026, at 16:00 (UTC), to determine the final balances to be held in custody after conversion.
• We strongly recommend withdrawing your assets before November 7, 2026, 16:00 (UTC). Otherwise, you must wait until the custodial transfer is completed on November 16, 2026, before requesting a withdrawal through MEXC Customer Service.

Following our previous announcement, MEXC to Wind Down Services for Users in the Netherlands, we would like to provide further details on the custodial arrangements for remaining assets and how affected users can request withdrawals.

Still Have Assets in Your Account?
We strongly recommend withdrawing your remaining assets before 16:00 (UTC) on November 7, 2026, to avoid waiting for the subsequent asset conversion and custody process. If your account has already been restricted, our Customer Service team can guide you through the available withdrawal arrangements.

If you do not withdraw your assets before this date, you will need to wait until the custodial transfer is completed on November 16, 2026, before you can request a withdrawal of assets held in custody.

Custody Arrangement
MEXC has arranged for all remaining assets to be held in custody with Kraken as part of the offboarding process, following any applicable settlement and conversion procedures.

Cryptocurrencies supported for custody by Kraken will be transferred in their original form, while unsupported cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies, including USDT, MX, and EUR, will be converted to USDC before being transferred to custody.

There is no minimum asset balance required for custody, and no custody fees will be charged. Your remaining assets will be included in the custodial arrangements regardless of their value, following any applicable settlement procedures.

You do not need to open a Kraken account, and your MEXC account will not be migrated to Kraken. MEXC will remain your point of contact for withdrawal assistance.

Treatment of Remaining Assets
To determine the assets to be held in custody, MEXC will conduct two balance snapshots, with asset conversions taking place between them.

First Snapshot: November 7, 2026, 16:00 (UTC)
The first snapshot will record your remaining account balances and identify the unsupported cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies that need to be converted to USDC.

Asset Conversion: Before November 11, 2026, 16:00 (UTC)
During this period, MEXC will convert unsupported cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies, including USDT, MX, and EUR, to USDC using the prevailing market price at the time of conversion.

The final USDC amount may differ from the value of your holdings at the time of the first snapshot. Once conversion is completed, the resulting USDC will be credited to your MEXC account. Completed conversions are final and cannot be reversed.

MEXC will not charge any conversion fees.

Second Snapshot: November 11, 2026, 16:00 (UTC)
After asset conversions are completed, MEXC will take a second snapshot of your remaining account balances. This second snapshot will determine the assets and amounts to be held in custody with Kraken and serve as the reference for your subsequent withdrawal requests.

Asset TypeTreatment
Kraken-Supported CryptocurrenciesHeld in custody in their original form, subject to the supported assets and networks
Unsupported Cryptocurrencies (Including USDT and MX)Converted to USDC at the prevailing market price at the time of conversion. The resulting USDC will be included in the second snapshot and transferred to custody.
EUR BalanceConverted to USDC at the prevailing market price at the time of conversion. The resulting USDC will be included in the second snapshot and transferred to custody.

Important: Please download the official list of supported cryptocurrencies and networks directly from the MEXC Announcement Center. Do not rely on or download copies distributed through other platforms or unofficial channels, as these may be inaccurate or have been altered.

Only cryptocurrencies and networks listed in the supported custody arrangements will be held in their original form. Assets not supported for custody will be converted to USDC.

How to Withdraw Assets Held in Custody
If you have not withdrawn your assets before November 7, 2026, 16:00 (UTC), you must wait until the custodial transfer is completed on November 16, 2026, before requesting a withdrawal through the custodial process.

Once transfer is completed, you can request the withdrawal of assets held in custody through MEXC Customer Service. Our team will guide you through the necessary account access arrangements and withdrawal procedures.

Step 1: Contact MEXC Customer Service
Contact us through Live Support on the MEXC website or app, or submit a support ticket here, and indicate that you wish to withdraw your remaining assets held in custody. If you cannot log in to your account, you can still contact us through Live Support, providing your UID so our team can assist you.

Customer Service will explain the applicable process and guide you through the necessary account access arrangements.

Step 2: Submit Your Withdrawal Information
Once account access has been temporarily enabled, please log in and submit your withdrawal request as soon as possible, before the access period expires. To help ensure your request can be processed correctly, please submit one request covering all assets you wish to withdraw, using the balances recorded in the second snapshot as the reference.

Please provide the following information:
• Cryptocurrency and quantity: The cryptocurrency and corresponding quantity recorded for custody in the second snapshot
• The receiving wallet address: The wallet address where you wish to receive the asset
• Supported withdrawal network: A network supported for that asset, as listed in [Supported Assets and Networks Link]
• Memo and/or tag: The required memo or tag, if applicable to the receiving wallet or network
• Balance snapshot: A screenshot showing your remaining asset balances after November 16, 2026, obtained during your temporary account access period.
• Additional verification information: Any other information or documentation requested by Customer Service

Important: Please carefully check all withdrawal details before submitting your request. Withdrawals sent to an incorrect address or network, or without a required memo or tag, cannot be reversed or recovered.

In line with applicable transfer regulations, information about you and your receiving wallet may be shared with Kraken to process your withdrawal, and you may be asked to confirm ownership of the receiving wallet.

If your account access period has expired or you need to amend your withdrawal information, please contact Customer Service for assistance.

In special circumstances, such as requests involving a deceased account holder, a corporate account, or changes to personal information, additional supporting documents may be required. Please contact Customer Service for guidance.

Step 3: Withdrawal Processing
Once your request has been reviewed and the applicable requirements are met, MEXC will coordinate the withdrawal of your assets. Processing times may vary depending on verification requirements, custodial procedures, and other operational factors. Once your withdrawal has been sent, we will notify you by email with the transaction ID (TxID).

Please note that withdrawals processed through this custodial arrangement will not appear in your MEXC withdrawal history.

If you would like to check the status of your request, you do not need to log in again. Simply contact Customer Service and provide your support ticket number.

Fees and Limits
The following fees and requirements apply to assets held in custody and subsequent withdrawals:
• Minimum Custodial Balance: No minimum balance is required for custody. Remaining assets will be included in the custodial arrangements following applicable settlement and conversion procedures.
• Custody Fee: No custody fees will be charged.
• Minimum Withdrawal Amount: Withdrawals are subject to Kraken's applicable minimum withdrawal requirements.

Additional Information
Withdrawal Request Period

Assets received in your MEXC account after the two snapshots will be reviewed individually. If this applies to you, please contact Customer Service for assistance.

Questions About Your Remaining Balance
If you believe your remaining asset balance is incorrect, please contact Customer Service with your UID and relevant account details. Our team will review your inquiry and provide further guidance.

Stay Safe
Please use only official MEXC communication channels when requesting assistance with your assets. If you are unsure whether a source is genuine, you can verify its authenticity via MEXC Verify. Never disclose your password, private keys, or verification codes to anyone claiming to assist with withdrawals.
