PANews reported on December 16th that, according to Decrypt, the US government has launched a two-year "US Tech Force" program, aiming to recruit approximately 1,000 technical talents from fields such as software engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and data analytics to support federal agencies such as the Treasury Department and the Department of Defense in advancing AI and other technology projects. Nearly 30 technology companies, including Coinbase, Robinhood, OpenAI, Microsoft, and Nvidia, are collaborating on the program. Members will receive an annual salary of approximately $150,000 to $200,000, and upon completion, they can choose to continue serving in the government or move on to work for one of the partner companies.
