OSL Group's Eugene Cheung: Institutional investors are increasingly focusing on tokenized gold investments.

PANews reported on March 19 that Eugene Cheung, Chief Commercial Officer of OSL Group, stated at the "Investing in Gold" seminar hosted by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong that as institutional investors' interest in the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWAs) continues to rise, tokenized gold is gradually becoming a highly anticipated innovative investment tool.

Eugene stated that compared to traditional gold ETFs or physical gold, tokenized gold offers significant advantages in terms of liquidity, programmability, 24/7 trading, and fragmented ownership, providing investors with a more efficient and transparent asset allocation method. Hong Kong, as a global gold trading hub, possesses a unique advantage in deeply integrating the physical gold market with digital assets. Stablecoin products such as XAUT and PAXG, pegged 1:1 to physical gold, are key factors driving the development of this ecosystem.
