Fuming Trump fires back at top ally for calling his war 'humiliating'

President Donald Trump fired back at a U.S. ally for criticizing his war in Iran as a losing cause.

"The Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon," Trump wrote. "He doesn’t know what he’s talking about! If Iran had a Nuclear Weapon, the whole World would be held hostage."

On Monday, Merz said that the United States is being "humiliated" by Iran in the ongoing conflict, adding that it could drag on into a quagmire like Afghanistan and Iraq.

Trump fired back in a Truth Social post on Tuesday with verbal attacks on Germany.

"I am doing something with Iran, right now, that other Nations, or Presidents, should have done long ago," Trump wrote. "No wonder Germany is doing so poorly, both Economically, and otherwise!"
