The post Infinity Castle’ Part 1, 2 And 3 Are Set To Make $2 Billion appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Ufotable While we’re always talking about superheroes and Tom Cruise blockbusters and Disney live-action remakes, one of the biggest stories in the entire year of cinema is the wild success of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, the new movie continuing the storyline of the anime into its final arc. After just releasing in China, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has made $730 million worldwide. That makes it the fifth-highest-grossing movie of the year, ahead of the live-action How to Train Your Dragon, F1, Mission Impossible and every Marvel and DC superhero movie that was released in 2025. Stunning. But what some covering this story may not realize is that this is just Infinity Castle Part 1. This is the first movie in what’s going to be a trilogy of films that will close out the famed anime. The indication here is that if these numbers hold, and they might even increase, Demon Slayer will end its run with probably over $2 billion in box office receipts, not counting the previously released Mugen Train movie from 2020 that made $486 million. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Crunchyroll If Demon Slayer gets to $2.1 billion for the Infinity Castle movies, and we add Mugen Train to make a low-end estimate of $2.5 billion, that will put it inside the top 10 highest grossing franchises in movie history, and with the way these are sometimes double counted, on the higher end, and certainly the only one with just four movies hitting that total. Here’s the list: Marvel Cinematic Universe – $13 billion Star Wars – $5.1 billion Disney Live-Action – $3.4 billion Spider-Man – $3.3 billion JK Rowling Wizarding World – $2.8 billion DCEU – $2.7 billion Batman – $2.7 billion Avengers – $2.6 billion X-Men – $2.4 billion Harry Potter –… The post Infinity Castle’ Part 1, 2 And 3 Are Set To Make $2 Billion appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Infinity Castle’ Part 1, 2 And 3 Are Set To Make $2 Billion

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle

Ufotable

While we’re always talking about superheroes and Tom Cruise blockbusters and Disney live-action remakes, one of the biggest stories in the entire year of cinema is the wild success of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, the new movie continuing the storyline of the anime into its final arc.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle

Crunchyroll

If Demon Slayer gets to $2.1 billion for the Infinity Castle movies, and we add Mugen Train to make a low-end estimate of $2.5 billion, that will put it inside the top 10 highest grossing franchises in movie history, and with the way these are sometimes double counted, on the higher end, and certainly the only one with just four movies hitting that total. Here’s the list:

  • Marvel Cinematic Universe – $13 billion
  • Star Wars – $5.1 billion
  • Disney Live-Action – $3.4 billion
  • Spider-Man – $3.3 billion
  • JK Rowling Wizarding World – $2.8 billion
  • DCEU – $2.7 billion
  • Batman – $2.7 billion
  • Avengers – $2.6 billion
  • X-Men – $2.4 billion
  • Harry Potter – $2.3 billion

You can see some of the issues here, with things like Spider-Man, Wizarding World, Avengers and others double-counting movies to reach this total. If you take those out, Demon Slayer would come in at around #5, if the estimated numbers hold. It could go higher, as we’re assuming the sequel numbers wouldn’t go up further.

Other anime have seen what Demon Slayer is doing and are blazing forward with their own projects. We just saw Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc make a respectable $168 million worldwide. We now know there’s going to be an upcoming Solo Leveling movie, which should do very well. But nothing is coming close to Demon Slayer. The catch? We will be waiting until at least 2030 to finish this series out with two more movies, it looks like.

Michigan’s Stalled Reserve Bill Advances After 7 Months

The post Michigan’s Stalled Reserve Bill Advances After 7 Months appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. After seven months of inactivity, Michigan’s Bitcoin Reserve Bill, HB 4087, made progress Thursday by advancing to the second reading in the state House of Representatives. The bill, introduced in February, aims to establish a strategic bitcoin BTC$115,427.11 reserve by authorizing the state treasury to invest up to 10% of its reserves in the largest cryptocurrency and possibly others. It has now been referred to the Committee on Government Operations. If approved, Michigan would join the three states — Texas, New Hampshire and Arizona — that have enacted bitcoin reserve laws. While Texas allocated $10 million to purchase BTC in June, the other two have yet to fund the reserve with state money. Recently, the U.S. House directed the Treasury Department to study the feasibility and governance of a strategic bitcoin reserve, including key areas such as custody, cybersecurity and accounting standards. Sovereign adoption of bitcoin has emerged as one of the defining trends of 2025, with several U.S. states and countries considering or implementing BTC reserves as part of their public finance strategy. That’s in addition to the growing corporate adoption of bitcoin in company treasuries. This institutional embrace has contributed to a significant boost in bitcoin’s market valuation. The BTC price has increased 25% this year, and touched a record high near $124,500 in August, CoinDesk data show. Despite the enthusiasm, skeptics remain concerned about the risks posed by bitcoin’s notorious price volatility.
