5 New Altcoins To Buy Before The Next Bitcoin Bull Run

Despite recent Bitcoin price swings, the crypto market still looks strong beneath the surface. The stablecoin market cap has climbed to a record $310 billion, up 70% year over year.

This shows that investors are not leaving crypto. Instead, they are holding capital on the sidelines and waiting for a clear reversal before buying.

As December 26 approaches, traders are preparing for the final major options expiry of the year. These events often bring short-term volatility in Bitcoin and Ethereum, but they also tend to reset the market. Once the pressure clears, buyers often step back in and regain control.

Looking ahead to 2026, opinions remain split. Longtime Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff warns that a global economic downturn could drag crypto lower along with stocks.

On the other side, Binance founder CZ argues that 2026 could kick off a full crypto supercycle, driven by institutional adoption and more mature Layer 2 technology. History supports this optimism, as Bitcoin often rebounds in February after weak sentiment in December and January.

How Investors Position During Extreme Fear – Best Crypto Presales For The 2026 Recovery

While Bitcoin prepares for its next major move, extreme fear in the market has opened opportunities elsewhere. With the Fear and Greed Index near 20, smart money is rotating into crypto presales that pair strong narratives with real utility. As December 2025 ends, these early-stage projects stand out as potential leaders for the 2026 recovery.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)

Bitcoin Hyper introduces a new Layer 2 that makes Bitcoin easier to use every day. It supports fast payments, meme coins, stablecoins, DeFi, borrowing, and lending, areas where Bitcoin usually struggles because of slow speeds and high fees.

The project runs on the Solana Virtual Machine, which lets transactions and smart contracts execute quickly and at low cost. Bitcoin still handles final settlement, so users keep Bitcoin’s strong security while enjoying near-instant performance.

Bitcoin Hyper uses a built-in bridge that locks BTC on the main chain and brings it onto the Layer 2, where people use it across apps.

Instead of pushing activity away from Bitcoin, the network makes BTC the main currency inside the system. This setup creates real utility demand and strengthens Bitcoin’s role beyond just storing value.

The $HYPER token powers the network by paying for transactions. The presale has raised about $29.7 million and is close to $30 million. $HYPER currently trades at $0.013485, and even a small share of the Bitcoin Layer 2 market could drive a 5x to 10x move after launch.

Crypto Volt recently highlighted Bitcoin Hyper as one of his top picks among the best crypto presales, adding to growing interest in the project.

Investors can still buy $HYPER during the presale through the official Bitcoin Hyper website using ETH, USDT, BNB, or a credit card. Buyers can also stake their tokens right away and earn up to 39% dynamic rewards.

For wallets, the team recommends Best Wallet. Many users consider it one of the best crypto wallets available, and $HYPER already appears in its Upcoming Tokens section for easy buying, tracking, and claiming once the token goes live.

Anyone who wants updates can follow Bitcoin Hyper on Telegram and X.

Pepenode (PEPENODE)

Pepenode (PEPENODE) builds on one of Bitcoin’s core ideas: mining. Instead of hiding how mining works, the game turns it into a virtual system where players focus on efficiency and smart optimization.

Players run virtual mining rigs and improve performance by combining different nodes. Each node has unique traits, and the way players mix them directly affects output. Success depends on smart system design, not just collecting more items.

Players also make strategic choices with their resources. They must decide whether to expand operations or upgrade existing rigs, balancing quick gains against long-term efficiency.

The game rewards players with popular meme coins like Pepe and Fartcoin. Leaderboards rank top players and offer bonus rewards, which adds competition and keeps engagement high.

Pepenode uses a deflationary model to control supply. The system burns about 70% of tokens used for upgrades, which reduces total supply over time and supports long-term value while encouraging activity.

This mix of virtual mining, presale stages, and staking helps $PEPENODE stand out. The staking feature offers up to 544% APY, and many traders now see it as one of the best meme coins to watch in 2025 and 2026.

Even in a quiet market, money continues to flow in. The presale has already raised around $2.4 million, showing strong early interest despite cautious sentiment across crypto.

Time is running out, though. The presale ends in 13 days, after which the token moves to exchanges. Once trading goes live, the current presale price of $0.0012112 will no longer be available.

Investors can buy $PEPENODE using ETH, BNB, USDT, or a credit or debit card. Buyers can also connect through popular wallets like Best Wallet for easy access.

HyperSui (HYPESUI)

HyperSui (HYPESUI) has emerged as a high-conviction presale, raising over $3 million as of late December 2025. While the Sui blockchain has grown its Total Value Locked (TVL) by more than 250% this year, the ecosystem still lacks a native, unified trading hub.

HyperSui aims to solve that problem by launching the first perpetual decentralized exchange (DEX) built directly on Sui. The platform uses Sui’s sub-second finality and Move-based security to deliver an institutional-grade trading experience.

Unlike traditional DEXs that fragment liquidity, HyperSui is building a full on-chain trading terminal. The platform offers up to 100x non-custodial leverage, precise trade execution, and real-time analytics typically found on centralized exchanges.

It also enables seamless swaps across Sui, Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain. HyperSui has completed a CertiK audit, giving investors added confidence during the current “Extreme Fear” market phase.

The presale follows a tiered structure that rewards early buyers. Currently, the $HYPESUI token trades at $0.01022, and the team has confirmed a Q1 2026 listing price of $0.09. This implies an approximate 8.8x return, or about 780% ROI, for investors entering at current levels.

With no clear leader in the Sui DEX landscape, HyperSui combines strong technology with aggressive incentive programs to stand out. Its roadmap includes DAO governance and a mainnet launch in early 2026, positioning $HYPESUI as a potential core liquidity hub for the entire Sui DeFi ecosystem.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…

Big U.S. banks cut prime rate to 7.25% after Fed’s interest rate cut

The post Big U.S. banks cut prime rate to 7.25% after Fed’s interest rate cut appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Big U.S. banks have lowered their prime lending rate to 7.25%, down from 7.50%, after the Federal Reserve announced a 25 basis point rate cut on Wednesday, the first adjustment since December. The change directly affects consumer and business loans across the country. According to Reuters, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America all implemented the new rate immediately following the Fed’s announcement. The prime rate is what banks charge their most trusted borrowers, usually large companies. But it’s also the base for what everyone else pays; mortgages, small business loans, credit cards, and personal loans. With this cut, borrowing gets slightly cheaper across the board. Inflation still isn’t under control. It’s above the 2% goal, and the impact of President Donald Trump’s tariffs remains uncertain. Fed reacts to rising unemployment concerns Richard Flynn, managing director at Charles Schwab UK, said jobless claims are at their highest in almost four years, despite the Fed originally planning to keep rates unchanged through the summer. “Although the summer began with expectations of holding rates steady, the labor market has shown more signs of weakness than anticipated,” Flynn said. Hiring has slowed because of uncertainty around Trump’s trade policy. Companies are hesitating to add staff, which is why job growth has nearly stalled. As fewer people are hired, spending starts to shrink. And that’s when things start to unravel. That’s what the Fed is trying to get ahead of with this rate cut. The cut also helps banks directly. Lower rates mean more people may qualify for loans again. During the previous rate hikes, lending standards got tighter. Now, with cheaper credit, smaller businesses could get approved again. If well-funded businesses feel confident, they may hire again. That could eventually help the consumer side of the economy bounce back, but that’s…
