Institutional XRP Demand Will Unlock Overnight Once This Happens

Crypto enthusiast X Finance Bull referenced a specific regulatory timeline in a recent tweet, pointing to April 3 as a key date for U.S. digital asset policy.

According to the post, Patrick Witt believes the Clarity Act could be signed into law by that date. Witt serves as Executive Director of the President’s Council of Advisors for Digital Assets, a role that places him within ongoing policy discussions in Washington.

X Finance Bull stated that once the legislation is signed, institutional demand for XRP would “unlock overnight,” arguing that the necessary infrastructure is already in place and that regulatory certainty is the missing component.

The tweet further claimed that legal clarity would fundamentally change how large financial institutions approach XRP. X Finance Bull asserted that the signing of the Clarity Act would remove barriers that have limited participation, adding that the market floor for XRP would rise from that point onward.

The message framed the anticipated legislation as a decisive moment rather than a gradual shift, presenting April 3 as a clear inflection date tied directly to regulatory approval.

Comments from the Ondo Summit Provide Context

The tweet referenced a video clip from the Ondo Summit in which Patrick Witt was asked directly about the timing of the Clarity Act. During the exchange, an interviewer asked Witt when the President would sign the legislation into law.

Witt responded by linking the timing to his upcoming birthday, stating, “Well, I have a birthday coming up, so let’s say April 3rd.” The interviewer acknowledged the optimism of the response, repeating the date and suggesting that the projection was realistic given the amount of work already completed by policymakers involved in digital asset initiatives.

The discussion continued with praise for the level of coordination within the administration, noting that senior officials have been actively engaged in efforts to position crypto innovation within the United States.

The moderator described the panel as an example of public servants focused on delivering “quick and solid action on digital assets,” reinforcing the idea that progress on legislation is not hypothetical but actively underway.

Regulatory Clarity and Market Interpretation

X Finance Bull interpreted Witt’s remarks as more than casual optimism, presenting them as an informed expectation based on internal progress. The tweet connected this anticipated legislative outcome directly to XRP, arguing that regulatory clarity would remove hesitation among institutions waiting for explicit legal guidance. According to the post, infrastructure readiness is no longer the limiting factor, with compliance and policy certainty now taking center stage.

While the tweet adopted a confident tone, it relied heavily on Witt’s public comments and the broader sentiment expressed during the Ondo Summit panel. The emphasis remained on the belief that U.S. regulatory clarity could materially affect how institutional participants engage with XRP.

Outlook Based on the April 3 Expectation

The core message from X Finance Bull centered on timing and consequence. April 3 was presented as a potential turning point for U.S. digital asset policy and for XRP’s institutional accessibility.

By highlighting remarks from a senior advisory figure and situating them within a public policy forum, the tweet positioned its claims as grounded in observable developments rather than speculation alone.

Google Cloud taps EigenLayer to bring trust to agentic payments

Google Cloud taps EigenLayer to bring trust to agentic payments

The post Google Cloud taps EigenLayer to bring trust to agentic payments appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Two days after unveiling AP2 — a universal payment layer for AI agents that supports everything from credit cards to stablecoins — Google and EigenLayer have released details of their partnership to bring verifiability and restaking security to the stack, using Ethereum. In addition to enabling verifiable compute and slashing-backed payment coordination, EigenCloud will support insured and sovereign AI agents, which introduce consequences for failure or deviation from specified behavior. Sovereign agents are positioned as autonomous actors that can own property, make decisions, and execute actions independently — think smart contracts with embedded intelligence. From demos to dollars AP2 extends Google’s agent-to-agent (A2A) protocol using the HTTP 402 status code — long reserved for “payment required” — to standardize payment requests between agents across different networks. It already supports stablecoins like USDC, and Coinbase has demoed an agent checkout using its Wallet-as-a-Service. Paired with a system like Lit Protocol’s Vincent — which enforces per-action policies and key custody at signing — Google’s AP2 with EigenCloud’s verifiability and cross-chain settlement could form an end-to-end trust loop. Payments between agents aren’t as simple as they are often made to sound by “Crypto x AI” LARPs. When an AI agent requests a payment in USDC on Base and the payer’s funds are locked in ETH on Arbitrum, the transaction stalls — unless something abstracts the bridging, swapping and delivery. That’s where EigenCloud comes in. Sreeram Kannan, founder of EigenLayer, said the integration will create agents that not only run on-chain verifiable compute, but are also economically incentivized to behave within programmable bounds. Through restaked operators, EigenCloud powers a verifiable payment service that handles asset routing and chain abstraction, with dishonest behavior subject to slashing. It also introduces cryptographic accountability to the agents themselves, enabling proofs that an agent actually executed the task it…
