Massie hints at identities of alleged Epstein co-conspirators whose names were redacted

Reps. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) – who co-authored the Epstein Files Transparency Act – spent several hours on Monday reviewing Jeffrey Epstein documents without the Department of Justice's (DOJ) redactions. Now, Massie is dropping hints on social media about the names of some of Epstein's alleged co-conspirators.

Both Khanna and Massie have not yet publicly named any of the men named in the latest batch of Epstein files, arguing that President Donald Trump's DOJ should release that information to the public. However, Massie spent some time on Monday strongly hinting that some of Epstein's alleged co-conspirators were powerful men being protected by the administration.

"[Ro Khanna] and I just spent two hours at DOJ viewing the 'mostly-unredacted' Epstein files," Massie wrote on his X account on Monday. "Four of the 18 redacted names on this document are men born before 1970. DOJ needs to explain why they are redacted unless they were just randoms in a line-up."

In another post, Massie posted a document pertaining to "a well known retired CEO" based in Ohio. While Massie didn't publicly name the person in question, this could be a reference to former Victoria's Secret CEO Les Wexner, who is from Dayton, Ohio and currently lives north of Ohio's capital city of Columbus. Wexner is mentioned in more than 1,000 Epstein documents, with Epstein writing in several emails that the two owed each other significant debts.

In another email sent in 2009, Epstein emailed an unnamed recipient asking to meet with him, saying "I loved the torture video." The recipient replied to Epstein and told him while he was currently "in China," he would be in the U.S. in the "2nd week of May."

"A sultan seems to have sent this," Massie tweeted. "DOJ should make this public."

Massie has also recently gone after members of the Trump administration. After Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was seen in several Epstein documents buying a business with Epstein and setting up a trip to his private island, Massie called on him to resign from his position.
