PANews reported on February 24th that, according to Cointelegraph, blockchain data analytics platform Nansen will establish a local entity and team in Greppu, Bhutan, to provide blockchain data and market intelligence to industry participants in the region. CEO Alex Svanevik stated that this move is not a replacement for their Singapore operations, but rather a new entity, chosen because of Greppu's vision of integrating digital assets into the economic framework from the outset.
Glep is a special administrative region in southern Bhutan specifically designed for long-term economic development. It has previously announced a digital asset initiative encompassing custody infrastructure, tokenization, institutional liquidity, and a regulatory framework. Nansen plans to recruit locally; team size and office details will be announced in the coming months.
