Global multi-asset broker and cryptocurrency asset service provider PrimeXBT announced the release of PXTrader 2.0, a significant enhancement of its native trading platform that integrates cryptocurrency with conventional markets, allowing traders to access over 350 instruments from a single account. The launch highlights PrimeXBT’s pivotal role in the increasing convergence of tradfi and cryptocurrency, bolstered by infrastructure intended to facilitate more unrestricted movement of digital asset capital across international markets.

A broader shift in the use of digital assets in markets is reflected in PXTrader 2.0. Cryptocurrency is increasingly becoming a form of trading capital rather than just a stand-alone asset class. PXTrader 2.0 allows traders to fund accounts with cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum while gaining exposure to Forex, commodities, equities, indices, crypto CFDs, and crypto futures. Traders can switch between tradfi products and cryptocurrency markets without ever leaving the same trading interface, thanks to this unified environment.

To assist active traders navigating both traditional and digital markets, the platform also offers a variety of sophisticated trading tools. TradingView charts with over 100 indicators, sophisticated order types, and adaptable leverage models—including cross- and isolated-margin positions up to 1:1000—are all included in PXTrader 2.0. Additionally, traders have more flexibility in managing holdings across markets because they can select between hedge and netting position styles. The platform also gives traders of cryptocurrency futures access to a real order book, which increases market transparency and liquidity visibility.

“Geopolitical tensions often trigger ripple effects across global markets, influencing currencies, commodities, equities, and digital assets at the same time. For traders, this creates a broader set of opportunities, particularly when they can move efficiently between asset classes. The ability to use crypto capital to access global markets is becoming an increasingly important advantage in this environment,” said Jonatan Randin, Senior Market Analyst at PrimeXBT.

Many traders are moving beyond single-asset strategies as the cryptocurrency market develops and searching for platforms that link digital assets to the larger financial ecosystem. Traders can respond to opportunities in both traditional and digital asset markets and diversify their exposure by deploying cryptocurrency capital across different marketplaces.

PrimeXBT continues to adapt its platform to these shifting market conditions with PXTrader 2.0. The broker hopes to give traders a more connected and adaptable approach to accessing international markets by integrating cryptocurrency and conventional financial products on a single trading platform.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
