XRP ETFs Buck $500M Crypto Outflows as BTC, ETH Bleed

XRP ETFs attracted $2.66M as Bitcoin and Ethereum funds lost over $500M, highlighting selective crypto accumulation trends.

XRP stood out in a weak ETF week as institutional capital rotated across crypto funds. 

From March 23 to 27, U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $2.66 million in net inflows. During the same period, Bitcoin ETFs lost $296 million, while Ethereum products shed $207 million. 

Solana funds also posted smaller exits, pushing total crypto ETF outflows beyond $500 million. 

X account Crypto Town Hall highlighted the divergence, pointing to selective institutional positioning rather than broad capital flight.

The ETF divergence came during a broader market pullback. 

Bitcoin prices slipped below $68,000, adding pressure to fund flows. BlackRock’s IBIT led the exits with a $225 million single-day outflow on March 27, according to the source data.

Even so, XRP products moved in the opposite direction. 

The inflows lifted XRP ETF assets under management to roughly $933 million. That contrast drew attention across crypto social channels, where market watchers noted capital appeared to be rotating into assets with different risk profiles.

Crypto Town Hall described the move as an institutional search for asymmetric opportunities. The post framed the shift as capital rotation within crypto, not a full retreat from digital assets.

Meanwhile, broader selling pressure linked to geopolitical tensions, delayed rate-cut expectations, and quarter-end portfolio rebalancing weighed on Bitcoin and Ethereum funds.

XRP Accumulation Builds Inside Key Trading Range

Separate on-chain data from CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost showed rising XRP accumulation activity. 

The analyst noted that XRP has traded in a defined range between $1.30 and $1.50 for several months.

Despite difficult market conditions, Binance outflow transactions increased sharply from late February. Several trading days logged more than 4,000 outflow transactions. Some sessions even approached 6,000.

Most of the activity came from transfers between 1,000 and 100,000 XRP. According to the source, that transaction band often reflects mid-sized investors instead of large whales.

This pattern usually points to tokens leaving exchanges for longer-term storage. As a result, the data suggests a steady accumulation phase rather than short-term speculative trading.

The pickup in Binance withdrawals adds another layer to the ETF inflow story. Both trends show continued XRP demand while other major crypto assets face selling pressure.

Latest CoinGecko pricing placed XRP at $1.35. The token gained 1.05% over the past 24 hours. However, it remained down 1.41% on the weekly timeframe.

Trading volume stayed active at $1.82 billion over the same 24-hour period. That level of activity shows continued market participation despite broader uncertainty.

The main focus now remains the established $1.30 to $1.50 range. Continued ETF inflows and exchange outflows keep attention on whether XRP can sustain momentum inside this consolidation zone.

For now, the data shows resilience. While Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs posted sharp losses, XRP continued to attract fresh capital and steady accumulation signals.
