1. What Is MEXC Spot Grid Trading?

MEXC Spot grid trading is an automated trading strategy tool that places buy and sell orders automatically at fixed intervals within a user-defined price range. The core logic of a Spot grid trading bot is to buy low and sell high. By allocating funds across different price grid levels, the bot automatically buys when the market price falls and sells when the price rises, allowing users to continuously capture profits from market fluctuations.

This strategy is especially suitable for range-bound markets. Users only need to set the upper and lower limits of the price range and define the number of grids, and the MEXC Spot grid trading bot will run automatically 24/7 without manual monitoring, helping users capture arbitrage opportunities during price swings.

2. Advantages of MEXC Spot Grid Trading

MEXC Spot grid trading offers several notable advantages, making it an ideal tool for investors seeking opportunities in range-bound markets.

In terms of market suitability, the crypto market spends a large portion of its time moving within a range, which creates a natural use case for Spot grid trading. In this type of market, the Spot grid trading bot can continuously execute a buy-low, sell-high strategy and accumulate grid profits over time.

In terms of risk control, Spot grid trading runs in the spot market and does not involve leverage or Futures positions, so there is no liquidation risk. At the same time, users can set take-profit and stop-loss prices to better control potential losses.

In terms of fund management, realized grid profits generated while the strategy is running can be withdrawn at any time, allowing users to manage their returns more flexibly. Once the strategy ends, both the investment amount and profits will be automatically returned to the user's Spot account.

3. Key Terms in MEXC Spot Grid Trading

Long Grid: Used when you expect the price to fluctuate upward within a broader uptrend. The strategy places buy orders first and then sells after the price rises, repeating the process of buying low and selling high to accumulate more stablecoins.

Arithmetic Mode: A grid mode in which the price difference between each grid is equal, such as 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Strategy Sub-Account: Similar to a standard sub-account, this type of account belongs to the main account. However, it is not created manually by the user. When certain strategy features are enabled, the system automatically creates it in the background. It is not visible to users and is used internally to separate assets across different strategies.

4. How to Use MEXC Spot Grid Trading

Creating a MEXC Spot grid trading strategy is simple and straightforward. The steps below provide a detailed guide.

Step 1: Go to the strategy trading page. Open the official MEXC website and log in to your account. Click Spot to enter the Spot trading page. In the order placement area, click the bot icon.

Step 2: Select a trading pair. Choose a suitable trading pair based on your investment preference. For beginners, it is recommended to start with highly liquid and widely recognized mainstream pairs such as BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT.

Step 3: Set the grid parameters. Enter parameters such as Price Range, No. of Grids, and Investment Amount.

Step 4: Set the investment amount. Enter the amount of funds you plan to invest. The system will display the minimum investment requirement. Please ensure that your Spot account has sufficient available funds.

Step 5: Configure advanced settings (optional). Set advanced parameters such as Activation Price, Take-Profit Price, and Stop-Loss Price as needed, and choose whether to automatically sell the held tokens when the strategy stops.

Step 6: Confirm and create the strategy. After reviewing all parameters, click Create Bot. Once the strategy is created successfully, the invested funds will be transferred from your Spot trading account to the strategy for independent operation.

While the strategy is running, you can go to the order section at the bottom of the Spot trading page and click Details under Grid Strategies to enter the bot details page, where you can view the bot's running status and profit performance. You can also withdraw realized grid profits or stop the strategy at any time.

MEXC Spot grid trading provides investors with an efficient automated trading tool and is especially suitable for capturing volatility profits in range-bound markets. By setting a reasonable price range and grid parameters, together with risk control measures such as take-profit and stop-loss, users can achieve 24/7 automated arbitrage and steadily accumulate returns with less manual effort.
