Hyperliquid is trading at $42.59 after dropping 0.63% in the past 24 hours. The token has been moving sideways for several weeks as traders watch for signs of the next directional move.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) PriceHyperliquid (HYPE) Price

Large institutional traders are showing renewed interest in HYPE. One high-performing trader recently opened a 10x leveraged long position on the token. This position is part of a portfolio that includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, with total holdings valued near $379 million.

Smart money activity like this often appears before major price moves. The timing is especially important because it comes after a period of consolidation. When top traders use high leverage after sideways trading, it usually signals they expect a breakout soon.

Technical charts show an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern forming between $35 and $40. The pattern’s neckline sits at $50, which is the key level traders are watching. If the price breaks above $50, the measured target projects to $68-$70.

The pattern remains valid as long as HYPE stays above $40. Volume growth and momentum shifts would confirm the breakout scenario. A successful push through $50 could make Hyperliquid one of the stronger mid-cap performers heading into the end of the year.

Current Market Position

HYPE is underperforming compared to major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Solana, and XRP. This divergence often happens before a mean reversion rally. When a token lags behind its peers, it can create conditions for a sharp recovery once momentum returns.

The current cooling period is helping reset leveraged positions across the market. Funding rates are normalizing while on-chain volume remains steady. Exchange inflows are stable, which points to potential momentum building under the surface.

If HYPE maintains support near $40 and capital rotates from larger coins, a reversal could happen quickly. Traders are watching for a sharp move that would confirm this scenario in the coming sessions.

Technical Support Levels

The 200-day exponential moving average is providing crucial support near $42-$43. HYPE has been consolidating tightly around this level. The EMA is flattening while intraday charts show consistent higher lows, suggesting accumulation is taking place.

A move back above $46-$48 would confirm strength is returning. This would shift the short-term outlook in favor of bulls. As long as the price stays above the 200-day EMA, the medium-term structure remains healthy.

This support zone gives traders a clear reference point for managing positions. It also provides a defined range for setting up entries ahead of a potential breakout.

Platform Revenue Performance

Hyperliquid achieved record revenue in August with $106 million in fees. The platform processed nearly $400 billion in perpetual contracts volume during the month. This represents a 23% increase from July’s $86.6 million in revenue.

The platform captured roughly 70% market share among leading perpetual trading platforms. Competitors like Jupiter and Orderly Network trail behind. Hyperliquid’s layer-1 blockchain HyperEVM architecture delivers high performance and lower transaction costs, which attracts more traders.

DefiLlama data shows annualized revenue at $1.251 billion. Cumulative total revenue has reached $512.08 million. Open interest currently stands at $14.29 billion, which shows strong trader activity on the platform.

21Shares launched a Hyperliquid exchange-traded product on the SIX Swiss Exchange. This move shows growing institutional interest in the platform. However, the platform faced scrutiny in August after whale investors allegedly manipulated newly launched futures markets for tokens like XPL.

Similar manipulation incidents occurred in March with Jelly meme coin futures markets. In response, Hyperliquid implemented protective measures including a 10x price cap relative to eight-hour exponential moving averages. The platform also integrated external market data to improve price stability.

The HYPE token uses a buyback-and-burn model that reduces supply over time. The token is currently trading around $45. Competition from emerging platforms and regulatory scrutiny could impact the platform’s market position in 2025.

A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix It could be sooner rather than later as Netflix looks to capitalize…

One Of Frank Sinatra’s Most Famous Albums Is Back In The Spotlight

The post One Of Frank Sinatra’s Most Famous Albums Is Back In The Spotlight appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew returns to the Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts, showing continued demand for his timeless music. Frank Sinatra performs on his TV special Frank Sinatra: A Man and his Music Bettmann Archive These days on the Billboard charts, Frank Sinatra’s music can always be found on the jazz-specific rankings. While the art he created when he was still working was pop at the time, and later classified as traditional pop, there is no such list for the latter format in America, and so his throwback projects and cuts appear on jazz lists instead. It’s on those charts where Sinatra rebounds this week, and one of his popular projects returns not to one, but two tallies at the same time, helping him increase the total amount of real estate he owns at the moment. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew Returns Sinatra’s The World We Knew is a top performer again, if only on the jazz lists. That set rebounds to No. 15 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart and comes in at No. 20 on the all-encompassing Jazz Albums ranking after not appearing on either roster just last frame. The World We Knew’s All-Time Highs The World We Knew returns close to its all-time peak on both of those rosters. Sinatra’s classic has peaked at No. 11 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart, just missing out on becoming another top 10 for the crooner. The set climbed all the way to No. 15 on the Jazz Albums tally and has now spent just under two months on the rosters. Frank Sinatra’s Album With Classic Hits Sinatra released The World We Knew in the summer of 1967. The title track, which on the album is actually known as “The World We Knew (Over and…
