World Chain Becomes the First Production-Grade L2 to Deliver Streaming Block Access Lists Through Flashblocks
According to The Block, World Chain will become the first production-grade Layer2 network to transmit complete EIP-7928 block access lists every 200 milliseconds within each flashblock. The feature is scheduled to go live on August 17. The upgrade uses BALs to record the accounts and storage slots read or written by a block, allowing validators to verify transactions in parallel across multiple CPU cores.
